join the pack!
I invite you, a Vancouver Island business owner, to join in on our efforts to raise funds for Operation Freedom Paws Canada, a Fanny Bay based organization that rescues both ends of the leash. OFP Canada and I have teamed up again this year to run a Calendar Contest featuring Vancouver Island dogs and to produce another heart-warming calendar for 2025.
We are seeking kind-hearted Vancouver Island businesses to donate their products, services and experiences as prizes in the Vancouver Island Dogs 2025 Calendar Contest. The contest will run from March 19th to April 30th, 2023.
We would love to have you join the pack as a participating business. Please scroll down to learn more about OFP Canada and the fundraiser.

Ofp Canada, an organization with a big heart and big plans
Operation Freedom Paws Canada, a Vancouver Island non-profit organization, teaches Veterans, First Responders and others with disabilities to train rescue dogs to be their own service dogs. Their clients may have Post Traumatic Stress, Complex-Post Traumatic Stress and/or Traumatic Brain Injury symptoms, or other physical, neurological, psychological or mobility needs. At the end of the OFP Canada Service Dog Program, the dogs and their handlers certify as Service Dog Teams under the BC Guide Dog and Service Dog Act. OFP Canada Service Dog Program is a lifeline for people suffering from trauma and other disabilities as it enables the clients to rejoin their communities and live life with renewed hope.
OFP Canada Service Dog Program covers all the costs related to the service dog so that their clients can focus on healing. OFP Canada’s noble mission is captured in their motto, “Four Paws, Two Feet, One Team”. OFP Canada is planning to build a permanent training facility in Fanny Bay to be able to help more people.
